Is TechLit for You?

Are you the director, board chair, or headteacher of a primary school in East Africa? We are building TechLit specifically for schools like yours. Is TechLit for you?

First, answer this: Do you want computers for your school? Why?

Give that some time. Many schools want technology (like printers and internet) to improve their existing lessons. Many schools want to use computers to proctor exams or deliver content to students. Some schools even want to use computers as marketing, to bring families in the front door.

Here’s a fair warning: we don’t do any of those things. If your answer to “why” was anything other than “for my students to learn technology”, then TechLit is probably not for you.
